Isaac Castellano is an adjunct professor of political science at Boise State and College of Western Idaho, and the author of the forthcoming book (Lexington Press) Civil War Interventions and Their Benefits: Unequal Returns. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Kentucky, and a B.A. in history and political science from Western Washington University. His research includes environmental security, military spending and civil war interventions.
