Keith Anderson attended Utah State University, School of Graduate Studies and later the University of Idaho, where in May 2006 he received a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. He played football at Boise State and has published two novels, A Field Day and A Black Soul Rises. Anderson teaches diversity seminars for businesses, African American sociology and works with low-income, first generation college students through the Educational Talent Search program. Anderson, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, lived most of his younger life in Vallejo, California. He is an accomplished vocalist and frequently conducts business seminars, teacher in-services and lectures throughout the Pacific Northwest on topics ranging from student motivation, diversity, multiculturalism in the classroom and understanding and disassembling racism.
